Dr. Casey Beleckas joined the Levy Shoulder to Hand Center at the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute in 2024. After growing up in Orlando, FL, she attended Emory University where she completed her Bachelors of Science in a double major of Chemistry and Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. She then attended Washington University in St Louis for medical school, followed by Indiana University for her orthopedic surgery residency. She completed an ASES accredited shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship with Dr. Jonathan Levy at the Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute in Boca Raton, and is thrilled to be practicing back in Florida.
She is a member of both the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) as well as the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). She is dedicated to pursuing research focused on improving patient outcomes after surgery. She received an NIH TL1 grant to complete a Master’s of Science in Clinical Investigation at Washington University where she dedicated her time to investigating the impact of mental health on outcomes after upper extremity surgery.
