Dr. Paley,

I know it’s been many years since I’ve seen you face-to-face but I do remember that you are the man who helped me to walk. I wanted to personally thank you for making a normal life possible for me.

Thank you so much for the knowledge and skill that you invested into my leg to make it so I could lead a normal life. Flying has been a dream of mine which I have only been able to pursue though God’s grace and also through your expertise in my surgeries. I overcame some challenges early in my flight training because of the good range of motion I have in my leg, thanks to you! I am happy to let you know that I have obtained my pilots license several years ago and I am currently working towards a commercial certificate.

Almost a year ago I met a beautiful young lady who is now going to become my wife. I’m thankful that I have the ability to walk down the isle with her instead of in a wheelchair. I know you are the one God used to make all of this is possible and for that I am ever thankful for what you have done for me!
