Dr. Roshan Chhatlani brings his expertise and knowledge in the field of physiatry combined with his training in interventional spine and traditional Chinese medicine. He strives to target and treat the underlying cause of a patient’s pain in order to provide long-term pain relief. Providing optimal care with a multi-disciplinary approach allows him to provide the best care possible.

Born and raised in New York, Dr. Chhatlani completed his undergraduate studies in Life Sciences at the New York Institute of Technology and completed his medical school training at the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. Being an osteopath, Dr. Chhatlani believes in providing holistic care to his patients. Dr. Chhatlani went on to complete a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. During his time in residency, Dr. Chhatlani also gained an interest in traditional Chinese Medicine and became certified in acupuncture which allows him to provide an alternative treatment/modality for treating pain. He then went on to complete a NASS accredited Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine fellowship in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dr. Chhatlani is well equipped to treat acute and chronic neck, mid-back, low back pain due to various causes but not limited to - arthritis of the spine, sciatica, and vertebral body compression fractures. He has a vast array of options in his toolbox which allows him to provide the best minimally invasive spine care to his patients. Dr. Chhatlani is proficient in fluoroscopic guided steroid injections, intra-articular hip and shoulder injections with ultrasound guidance, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, radiofrequency nerve ablation, MILD procedure, Intracept procedure, and Spinal Cord Stimulation. Dr. Chhatlani plans to continue being at the forefront of interventional pain medicine and learning as the years pass in order to provide the best care to the people of South Florida.

He is an active member in the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, North American Spine Society, and Spine Intervention Society.

When he is not in clinic or the procedure room, Dr. Chhatlani likes to spend time with family and friends and trying new coffee shops in town. He also enjoys fitness and going on long walks in the beautiful South Florida weather.
