Physical & Occupational Therapy
We have an on-site rehabilitation department here at the Paley Institute that exclusively treats our patients. Your physician may recommend physical therapy as part of your treatment plan. The Paley Rehabilitation Department is conveniently located on the west side of the Kimmel Building on St. Mary’s campus, just down the hall from our clinic.
Paley Institute’s Hip Center
The Hip Center offers patients advanced comprehensive treatments, from expert physical therapy to stem cell injections from the patient's own body to minimally invasive surgery such as arthroscopy, to hip preserving surgeries such as femoral and periacetabular osteotomies, and finally, if needed, hip replacements.
At the Paley Institute, we treat a variety of complicated congenital and acquired orthopedic conditions in children. Some of the complex diagnoses we treat include Achondroplasia, Arthrogryposis, Fibular Hemimelia, Perthes Disease, Radial Club Hand, Scoliosis, Tibial Hemimelia and more.
Dr. Paley is the world's most experienced limb lengthening surgeon in the world for both stature lengthening and lengthening to treat limb length discrepancies. He has performed over 17,000 limb lengthening surgeries since 1986. Dr. Paley has an amazing track record of success, delivering results safely and reliably.
The Joint Preservation & Replacement Center focuses on the conservative and surgical management of hip and knee conditions using the latest techniques, such as direct anterior hip replacement and patient-customized knee surgery to provide faster recovery time with less pain.
Dr. Dror Paley is considered the most experienced limb lengthening surgeon in the world. Having developed over 100 new operative procedures for bone and soft-tissue reconstruction of congenital, developmental, and post-traumatic limb disorders. Dr. Paley has also reclassified many of the diagnoses he treats, therefore, shifting emphasis from amputation and prosthetic fitting to emphasizing reconstructive techniques.
At the Paley Spine Center, we provide operative and non-operative treatments for any age group suffering from a Spinal Deformity, including Scoliosis, Kyphosis, Spondylolisthesis, and Spina Bifida. Our focus is on minimally invasive procedures, combining advanced techniques with superior knowledge and a creative approach. We understand that every patient is unique and we offer patient-specific treatments tailored to each individual.
